One person is feared dead as youths of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) clashed at Anyigba Okura constituency of Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

INEC Staff Arrested For Electoral Fraud In Imo

Five ad hoc officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) participating in the Imo state governorship re-run polls today met their waterloo as  they were arrested  for thumb-printing ballot papers as the elections were ongoing. 
The officials were arrested at Omuma Primary School in Oru East local government area following an order by Mr Mike Igini, one of the resident electoral commissioners deployed to the state to ensure the elections were hitch-free.

Bomb Blast Hits Army Barracks In Plateau

Witnesses and a security source said that the number of casualties is still unknown, and the police could not be immediately reached. Plateau State has witnessed a series of deadly bomb attacks in recent months. A blast at a bus station in Jos, Plateau, in late February killed 13 people and injured 14 others.
Not long ago, the Nigerian Army confirmed the explosion that occurred near its 3rd Armoured Division barracks at Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.

According to reports, this is the worst quake to have ever hit the Himalayan nation in over 80 years. Rescue teams have reached the area and are searching for survivors. A police spokesman made it known that the death toll has reached 449.
