New Jersey judge rules twin girls have different fathers

(CNN)A New Jersey father has been ordered to pay child support for one girl in a set of twins after DNA tests proved he is not the father of both, according to court documents.

The mother testified in a paternity case that, within a week's time, she had sexual intercourse with two men -- the man genetic tests confirmed as the father and another unidentified man.
The judge acknowledged the unusual circumstances of the case in a ruling this week.
"This is a case of first impression in New Jersey and only a handful of reported cases exist nationwide," Superior Court Judge Sohail Mohammed said in his ruling.

Lai Mohammed Under Attack Over Threats On Saraki

The national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed has come under severe attack by his kinsmen for stating that the APC will follow due process in punishing Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
This comes hours after the APC spokesman said the party will punish the green chamber leaders adding that “the sanctions would follow due process.”
However, reacting to Lai Mohammed’s statement, a group who identified themselves as community leaders and elders of thought in Oro Kingdom, have cautioned the APC spokesman over his continued opposition to the election of Senator Bukola Saraki as the President of the 8th Senate of the National Assembly.
In a statement made available to Daily Post on Friday and signed by the Asiwaju of Oro land, Isiak Bada and three others, the elders of thought noted that their warning is as a result of the “unjustifiable belligerence and disgraceful utterances of Alhaji Lai Mohammed in reaction to Senator Saraki’s election even when the President of the nation, Muhammadu Buhari has acknowledged the constitutionality of the process”.
