Muammar Gaddafi’s son Sentenced To Death

A court in Libya has sentenced Col Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam, and eight others to death over war crimes linked to the 2011 revolution.

According to BBC, the nine were on the trial along with dozens of other close associates of the deposed leader, accused of suppressing protests during the uprising in 2011.

Nollywood veteran actress, Joke Silva who lost her mum last week is set to bury her mum.
Silva who is married to fellow thespian, Olu Jacobs alongside her siblings will be burying her beloved mum this week.
The Christian wake-keep of Dr. Marianne Abimbola Silva is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 29 July, 2015 at the City Hall, Lagos from 6 -8pm.

The funeral service will hold at the Cathedral Church of Christ Marina, Lagos, the following day, Thursday, July 30 by 11am.

Breaking news: Big Brother Africa 2015 cancelled






This is not good news for African viewers as the biggest reality TV show in Africa, Big Brother Africa (BBA) may not take place this year as expected.
This is due to lack of sponsorship. The organizers of the show, Africa Magic and Endemol were unable to get sponsorship for this year’s edition of the show.
