BREAKING NEWS: Fire guts building at Allen Avenue

A fire outbreak has been reported at a building at Allen Avenue, Ikeja.
The building which is located on 11, Wole Ogundimu Street off Awosika, Allen Avenue,is currently smoke logged.
Men of the fire service have arrived the scene as at the time of filing this report.

Nigeria - Armed men invade bank in Ikorodu

Suspected armed robbers Wednesday morning invaded a major commercial bank at Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, a Lagos suburb, scaring people away with gunshots.
This attack is coming barely three weeks after a group of armed robbers attacked two commercial banks -First and Wema banks- in Ikorodu.
It was learnt that the bank is located close to Dangote factory in the area, just as sources said the hoodlums have held the area hostage for close to an hour.

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen shot dead at least 42 people in two separate attacks in northeast Nigeria, with no let-up in sight to the Islamist group’s targeting of civilians. The attacks in the remote villages of Debiro Hawul and Debiro Biu in Borno state on Monday and Tuesday came before at least 10 people were killed in a suicide attack in neighbouring Yobe.
