Daily Sun reports that Uduaghan, who spoke on Sunday night at a ceremony in Lagos where he was conferred with the Man of the Year award by the Silverbird Television, told the President-elect that the he should not attempt to deny the aforementioned zones their dues in power sharing and resource allocation.

Mu'azu Heads To The UK As Governors Push For His Exit

The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has sneaked out of the country to the United Kingdom in order to stave off efforts by PDP governors to remove him from office. 
Though President Goodluck Jonathan is said to be aware of Mu’azu’s trip to the UK, sources told The Herald that Mu’azu sneaked out of the country on Saturday to relieve himself from the pressure developing within his party.

Some party members, however, believe Mu’azu’s decision to leave the country at the peak of the crisis confronting his leadership was meant to frustrate the plot to remove him from office.

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday exonerated itself from the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 presidential election, saying the president failed because he did not carry the party along in his campaign.

Olisa Metuh, the PDP’s national publicity secretary, made the assertion while addressing reporters at the party secretariat in Abuja on Monday. He accused the president and his associates of not only failing to carry the party leadership along but also for ignoring the advice offered by party leaders.
