A 25-year-old man, Leandro Acosta, has been arrested for killing his parents, having sex with their bodies and eating up their remains.
Leandro reportedly confessed to the crime and claimed he had help from his stepsister in disposing the bodies of the deceased.
The culprit murdered his mum Miryam Kowalczuk, 50, and stepfather Ricardo Klein and sexually assaulted their bodies.
Daily Record reports that after he had killed his parents, he had sex with their bodies, ate part of their flesh, then cut and burned up the rest feeding it to the family’s six dogs.
Police believe that the cannibal was aided by his stepsister Karen Klein, 22, who had become his lover.
Karen said her stepbrother Leandrohad shot his stepfather whilst he was asleep and then had shot his mother in the head as she walked in the door.
The crime was discovered by a relative of the victim who alerted the police after he grew suspicious because he was not granted access into the family home.
Police reports say pieces of a female pelvis and vertebra column were found in an old paint bucket on the terrace.
Investigations are still on as the police crime team is analysing some rubbish bags which the couple had taken to a nearby waste ground.
Leandro’s lawyer said the killing was carried out because the stepfather had abused his client and his 11-year-old siblings.
They said they had reported the matter to the police but nothing happened, so they had decided to get justice by themselves.
Monica Chirivin, the defence lawyer, said: “He does not feel remorse and in fact describes a state of relief for a burden he has felt since childhood.
“He told me that he ate a bit of the corpse, for him it was almost a pleasure.”
Leandro and his stepsister justified their actions, saying that although their abuse experience was in the past, they discovered to their horror that the dead couple had also started abusing the two children they had together, 11-year-old twins .
They said they waited until the twins were at school before executing their parents at the family home in the city of Pilar located in the province of Buenos Aires.
Roberto Klein, the victim’s brother, admitted: “My brother was a difficult man, with little time for his children, there has always been resentment between him and his stepson and I believe this was a long time coming.”
Meanwhile, a former university professor, Jorge Beltrao Negromonte, has been jailed for 23 years for the murder of three young women.
Negromonte did not only kill the women, he also made meat pasties from their flesh.
The cannibal ate human flesh sauteed with onions and oregano.
The 54-year-old reportedly butchered one woman in front of her 18-month-old daughter, then fed the toddler pieces of her dead mother for lunch the next day.
When confronted with his crime, he said he saw no difference eating human flesh and tucking into some beef.
