According to the Cable, the security operatives were embarrassed after Musa asked visiting President of Chad, Idriss Deby about the present location of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.

Apparently, Musa’s question was hinged on the fact that the Chadian president earlier this year said Shekau had been seen in Dikwa, Borno State by Chadian forces.
Musa also asked Deby to explain the relationship between the African multinational task force fighting in Lake Chad and the South African mercenaries fighting with them.
Answering the question, Deby had responded that he was not aware of the presence of mercenaries in Sambisa fighting alongside multi-national troops. The Sun reports that Musa’s State House accreditation tag was thereafter withdrawn after what the Villa security perceived as an embarrassing question. The Villa’s Chief Security Officer (CSO) who is also President Goodluck Jonathan CSO, Mr. Gordon Obua, was said to have walked out the correspondent.
He was first called aside and asked questions after which he was escorted into a waiting van and driven out of the Villa.
Minutes later, he came back with a security personnel to pick his personal belongings in the press gallery and his car and then he was driven out of the Villa.
The consequences of the Security men’s action is that Musa can no longer report the activities of the President for his medium.
Foreign media organisations like AFP, Reuters, BBC, Radio France, Bloomberg and AP according to Frontier news are accredited to cover the State House alongside the local media.
Last year, Senator-elect, Shehu Sani had criticised the Jonathan government for destroying the democratic values and ethos of freedom in the nation.
