Congress (APC) candidate General Muhammadu Buhari was announced the
winner of presidential election, has got to his final stop.
He was given an inspiring welcome by Abuja residents, when he at last arrived in Nigeria’s capital.
But this wasn’t his final stop, the traveller moved to the APC secretariat, where has been given the flag of victory.
Suleiman Hashiemu was welcomed like a king who has traveled for years. He has successfully carved out an historical record for himself.
The traveller said: “Thank you Nigerians. I arrived safely in Abuja as promised. Sai Buhari.”
Now the man has all chances to meet with the president-elect Buhari.
The man became famous when he was spotted in Lapai in Niger state with a befitting welcome from the people of the state.
He stayed at the Lapai palace and had to pass two nights there to treat wounds to his legs caused by the long trek from Lagos.
He trekked for several weeks and in every placed he stopped he received a warm welcome from the locals.
The native of Katsina state got an offer from Abuja businessman, who has paid N550,000 to cover one week’s accommodation and food at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja ahead of his arrival.
