Four-month-old “Sonit Awal”
The rescue workers heard an infant’s cry to discover a four-month-old baby, all covered in dust.
The search team had already scoured the area near to the child’s home in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, but lost hope of finding the boy named locally as Sonit Awal.
The faint cry for help, however, helped the little man to receive another chance. He is said to be in a stable condition now.
2. Pemba Tamang, aged 15
The teenager was found alive in Kathmandu five days after the earthquake.
Nepalese policemen celebrated after having pulled out the survivor from the rubble, with the help of the US rescuers. Pemba has already been described as “miracle boy” by social media users. According to the recent update, he is “in very good condition”.

The child from Bhaktapur Dattatreya Sq was rescued by Nepal army 90 hours after the earthquake.
