Fayose asks APC to produce Ibrahim Shekau and the people comments

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has accused  the leadership of  All Progressives Congress(APC) of  knowing those behind the Boko Haram insurgency.
Rather than wiping out sentiment ,Fayose urged APC to produce Ibrahim Shekau, the original leader of Boko Haram
Ayodele Fayose
The APC’s  Presidential Campaign Organisation has said  the Federal Government was planning to use a fake Ibrahim Shekau to implicate the party’s presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd)
In a statement issued in Ado Ekiti Tuesday  by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Fayose lamented the open display of hatred against Nigeria and its people by the APC.
Fayose therefore charged the APC to produce the original Shekau, since the party knows that the Federal Government was presenting a fake one, saying; “It is obvious that APC does not want the insurgency to end.”
“Up till today, the APC has not made any statement, commending our gallant soldiers that are laying down their lives to save Nigerians from the Boko Haram insurgents.
‪”Instead of commending the soldiers and encouraging them, what the APC people are doing is to blackmail the military and one wonders why a party will want to take over power by supporting killing of innocent Nigerians.”
‪Speaking further, the governor said; “With the onslaught on the Boko Haram by our gallant soldiers, the APC appears to have lost the game of using the insurgency to campaign against President Goodluck Jonathan.
‪”Instead of them to face this reality, they have come up with this criminal assertion that a fake leader of Boko Haram, Ibrahim Shekau, was being presented before Nigerians by the government, in order to claim winning the war on terrorism.
‪”They are also claiming the fake Shekau might become a tool to blackmail members of the opposition, by coaching the phantom terror chief to say he was working for its presidential candidate, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, in order to link him to terrorism.
‪”With this statement coming from the APC, it is clear that the party knows what we don’t know about Boko Haram.
‪”It also indicates that the APC people do not want the Boko Haram insurgency to end so that they can continue to make political gains from it.
‪”Therefore, APC should simply produce the original Shekau that they know because you can only recognise fake when you know the original.

The People Comments

  • The federal governmenthas ordered the sales of uncleared imported
vehicles into the country in the last threemonths. Those willing to get a vehicle at 39%
off the actual price can call OLA ADEBAJO for more information on 08145304314,,,,,,
"...you can only recognise fake when you know the original." This assertion by Fayose is very very true. So, if APC says it was the fake Shekau, let them produce the original. And it seems as though they know something we don't know.
  • I I can only blame those who are given this guy a response, Nigeria deserves more than such wicked and arrogant man to be a governor. We need change to bring back sanity to nigeria
  • Fayose you are sick and demented. Why are you loosing your sleep over APC? What you fear may likely come upon you oooo? Why don't you just give yourself some peace?
  • When Buhari said he will bring down boko haram in one month if he wins, i suspected he knows something most Nigerians do not know. MY suspiCION is that He knows smething many Nigerians do not know about boko haram. MY suspiCION is that he is in league with Boko haram because i don't see what he has don;t Goodluck does not have to stop boko haram. MY suspiCION is that he is the main leader of boko harm to subject Nigeria to Islamic country and through the back door. MY suspiCION is that for a man of his calibre to accept to stand in and out for boko haram in a dialogue having know and seen what the sect has caused the nation, he is bolko haram himself.
    JUST SAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #NO2BUAHARI
    • He will make Shekau or his secret agent the central bank governor, the another problem will start with Tinubu, and Nigeria will be facing double trouble for the country because, those bad boys in the Niger Delta will never give up their pipelines.
  • APC IS BOKOHARAM.SINCE THEY KNOW THE FAKE THAT MEANS THEY HAVE THE ORIGINAL.ELRUFAI IS THE EXECUTIVE COMMANDER OF BOKOHARAM.

Shekau was killed by the military last yr said fed govt, who will they capture now? "every lie secretly await to be assassinated by the truth". PDP has failed Nigerians, so we need to try another party.
  • Fayose is running his mouth now, when time comes, he would run and run with his legs but there would be no place to hide.
    Be very afraid!

Mr. Fayose is right, since APC accused PDP that they are planning to capture the fake Shekau, that means that APC knows the real one. They should produce him.........#GEJ4Niaja

  • Ha ha ha ha ahh! Am loving this, since APC claims that the Shekau being presented by the government is fake, then they should produce the original Shekau, period.
It automatically means that the know the original Shekau. In shame they (APC) have buried their heads, instead of commending the federal government for a job welldone. Now their mouths have been shut. What a shame.
    #NO2Buhari
  • But, its an open secret that Buhari is Boko haram and Boko Haram is Buhari. Nigerians are too foolish to forget easily that Boko Haram has in the past asked Buhari to be their spokesman in their negotiation with Govt. Though Buhari refused and we know the reason why he refused. He wants us to believe that he doesn't know them. And now some stupid people are clamoring for Buahari. Just imagine how stupid Nigerians are. That's why successive Govt. loots and go away. Hungry Buhari is coming to loot his own. Shame to Nigeria!

    • I have said that it is only the fools and the illiterates will vote for Buhari
So if Buhari is a Boko sponsor as you guys are alleging....why can't GEJ get him arrested? Or is Jonathan scared of performing his constitutional duties?
those ones are fake boko haram . have you forgoten the DSS arrested some of them recently after duping Federal Government for fake negotiation. we are clamouring for Buhari because we believe he is far more better than Badluck. for your information, read what your president also said about boko haram on Aug. 12, 2012 “they (Boko haram) are our siblings and you cannot set the army to wipe
      out your family”.----GEJ

It is a pity that we are here fighting too much over who is right or wrong. APC accused PDP of providing so many fake Shekau which I think PDP is confused of. To me, PDP really don't know the real Shekau. Can APC please help us identify him since they know him very well. Is it too much to ask?.

No and that is why we have asked them to bring him out of Buhari's lodge.

you people are wrong. he is in aso rock with GEJ

Reading through the comments people have made on this forum clearly shows that there are many Fayoses here. Those who talk before reasoning. Too bad. It is on record that the Nigerian and Cameroonian armies claimed to have killed Shekau twice in the past. Neither came back to tell us when he resurrected. The BIG QUESTION NOW IS: Which shekau do they want to capture again? Can you capture a dead man?
So the onerous task before Fayose and not APC is for him to tell us when the “dead” shekau resurrected. Again why capturing him alive and not dead? For the FG to be specific that the army will capture the “dead” shekau alive without making provision for the possibility of killing him in battle makes the whole scenario suspicious to me.
The strongest army in the world, the USA, with good support from Britain, France,Canada, Israel and other countries in Europe and Asia did not capture Osama bin Laden, Al Maliki, and other infamous terrorists alive. If they capture the “dead” shekau alive as the FG claimed, the whole world must ask the FG and the Nigerian Army to tell us what they know about the terrorist organisation, Boko Haram.

    • One other person is typing…
    • Help us because we don't know who the real Shekau is. Is it too much to ask?. APC knows the real Shekau. Why running away from the truth?.

      • according to the army and DSS the real shekau is dead. so how would they capture shekau alive? . this clearly shows that many GEJ's supporters are brainless

Is it the dead Shekau according to FG and Nigerian army or which one? If FG wants to capture shekau, first of all, it has to tell us when the man resurrected. You and PDP have the task to answer this question.
As if it is a new discovery. All Nigerians know fully well that Buhari and his cabals are behind Boko haram, and those blood sucking terrorists are behind Buhari, but Nigerians will vote wisely and the election will soon be over. And so will Boko haram will soon be a thing of the past. They will never succeed in putting 180 million people to knees.
No one is bigger than this country and we know that our military men are up to the task.
    • the real person behind boko haram is Badluck!
      • The only badluck that we have in Nigeria is Buhari.
The last time he and his juntas terminated our democracy in 1983, it lead us to bankrupsy in 1999, plus 36 bln dollars foreign debt.
        Have you forgotten so quick?
A little reminder, salaries were being owed for more that 2 years; universities were being closed for 2 years and opened for one year then closed again for another 2 years, foreign exchange and Nigerian economy were being ran by lebanes and malams in the streets, while professional bank directors and fincial professionals begged to get peanuts. Health care and power supply grounded, now we are still struggling to build up again.
Nigeria was 3 times the most currupt country in the world during that era. We were thrown out of the British commonwealth, UN sanctions, etc.
Which other bad luck could be more than that for a country and her people? Please, get a concience from somewhere!
        • so all these happen under buhari's 18 months rule. Haba! even Nigeria is worst now than those years you mentioned the economists will tell you.
APC knows that Shekau will soon be caught. They also know that once caught, he will will reveal their sponsors when grilled by the military. They know that he will certainly mention Buhari as one of them because it is no secret he is their sponsor. What they have done is to prepare the ground ahead of the obvious so that as soon as the man begins to sing, they would say its a set up. APC is evil, they are the greatest enemy of Nigeria at the moment, Nigerians are beginning to see beyond their lies. One sure fact is that they will soon be exposed beyond doubt
This guys brain have mixed with blood, they need to wash his brain.
THIS MAN CALLED FAYOSHE IS STILL NOT YET GO AND SEE HIS PSYCHIATRIC DOCTOR FOR THE BIPOLAR DISEASE, FAYOSHE LOST HIS SENSE THAT'S WHY HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT IT'S THE PRESIDENT JONATHAN OF PDP GOVT. WHO IS COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF ARMY FORCES WHO CAN PRODUCE THEIR KILLER AGENT SHEKAU. PDP SHEKAU MUST BE PRODUCED BY JONATHAN PDP GOVT. WHO IS HARBORING SHEKAU.
    • we need more of fayose than tunubu's fashla's, buhari's okorocha's who always tell the truth, even at gun point. your buhari keep on running to london because of his health condition why apc keep on deceiving gullible nigerians that all is well with him,
    SaiBuhari Sai Baba..
    Sai Buhari Sai Baba
    Sai Buhari Sai Baba.
    #Buhari2015 #VoteOutJonathanToSaveNigeria #ChangePDP
It is obvious and this is also telling us who is behind Boko Haram all this while, APC has tried to defend the insurgency since from inception...for them to say GEJ will present fake Shekau that means they know where about the original Shekau so they should tell Nigerians the truth...and stop lying to us. They were also using it to campaign against GEJ but now they have lost it. #Gej4Naija
I think I am beginning to see what Fayose has been clamoring about the APC! APC should please make a statement with a proof for all to see, as this is beginning to make some sense now and APC is the culprit!

31 killed as suicide bombers hit Potiskum, Kano

KANO — Thirty-one persons died yesterday in two separate suicide bomb attacks in Potiskum, Yobe State, and Kano with several others injured.
The Vokswagen Sharon bus that conveyed the two male suicide bombers to Kano line bus station
An eye witness account on the Potiskum attack said a female suicide bomber alighted from a tricycle, opposite Tashan Dan Borno motor park in the town, and mixed with passengers at the park located along Kano Road, killing 15 persons on the spot, while four others died before reaching hospital for treatment due to excessive bleeding.
A nursing officer at the hospital who pleaded anonymity, revealed that 15 dead bodies were initially deposited in the mortuary, while four other dead bodies were brought in a few minutes after. Forty nine others who were injured in the blast are in the hospital.
“This is the worst suicide bombing so far recorded since the commencement of the insurgency as it has recorded 19 deaths so far, while 49 persons are lying critically ill in the hospital and there is a high possibility that the death toll will rise, considering the nature of the injuries they sustained,” the nursing officer said.
Suicide bombing has become rampant in Potiskum, the commercial nerve centre of Yobe State, north east Nigeria.
A female suicide bomber had last Sunday hit the Potiskum GSM market, killing five and injuring several others.
12 killed in Kano blast
In Kano, 12 persons died, while five others sustained various degrees of injuries as two male suicide bombers hit a bus station in the city.
Kano State Police Commissioner; Ibrahim Idris, told reporters that the the incident occurred around 3.00pm when the two male bombers were conveyed into the station in a Vokswagen Sharon bus, posing as passengers.
The police boss said the bombers detonated the bomb, shortly after mingling with motor park officials conducting businesses in the park located opposite the headquarters of defunct Bank of the North, on the fringe of the strategic Zaria Road.
Idris said:   “We heard a blast at Kano line bus station located at Kofar Nasarawa area by 3.00pm and preliminary investigation indicated that two suicide bombers who were conveyed to the station in a Sharon bus, were behind this dastardly attack.”
Idris stated that three other vehicles were razed during the attack, pointing out that the remains of the victims had been deposited in the morgue.
Yesterday’s bus station attack in Kano is the first outside a predominantly Christian quarters since the commercial city was hit by insurgents January 20, 2012.
The police commissioner revealed that the injured were taken to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital for attention.
He disclosed that investigation had commenced, adding that he had ordered security beef up in the city.
The incident triggered anger in the city as a mob identified and supervised the cremation of the two suicide bombers, while security agents appealed for calm.
Jonathan condemns bombing of soft targets
Reacting to the attacks, President Goodluck Jonathan condemned the resort by Boko Haram to the bombing of soft targets in parts of Nigeria, in the wake of pressure being piled on them by Nigerian troops and their multinational allies of areas formerly controlled by the sect.
A statement signed, yesterday, by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, said President Jonathan commiserated with all families who lost loved ones in the bombings which continued yesterday with attacks on Kano and Potiskum.
“The President shares the grief of all the bereaved families and is deeply saddened by the continued loss of many innocent lives at the hands of misguided and desperate fanatics who are now feeling the heat of the intense counter-insurgency operation by the Nigerian Armed Forces,” the statement said.
The President further assured all Nigerians and “the people of the North Eastern states in particular that the days of mourning victims of incessant terrorist attacks in the country will soon be over as the tide has now definitely turned against Boko Haram.
“President Jonathan further assures the people of Nigeria that the gallant, courageous and patriotic officers and men of the Nigerian Armed Forces, supported with new platforms, equipment and logistics provided by the Federal Government will carry the ongoing operations against the terrorists through to a successful conclusion in the shortest possible time.”
PDP condemns attacks
Similarly, the national leadership of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, condemned the bombings and called for the prosecution of the culprits.
In a statement signed, yesterday, by National Publicity Secretary, Chief Oilsa Metuh, the party said it was deeply saddened by the news of the attacks in the two cities, which claimed the lives of harmless citizens going about their legitimate endeavours.
“Indeed, the PDP mourns. We are deeply pained by these attacks on our citizens. Our hearts and prayers go out to the bereaved and the wounded. We share in their pain and pray that those behind their grief must not escape justice.”
