The Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation, today revealed that they have relieved a woman of her position in the foundation after reports surfaced showing that she helped some Lebanese businessmen to launder millions of dollars.

Retirees Accuse Jonathan Of Using Their Money For Campaign

Federal pensioners lamented that Federal Government used their 10 months unpaid contributory pension to support the presidential campaign project of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The retirees said the action exposed them to abject poverty.
They made the accusation at a press conference in Abeokuta, Ogun State, while protesting their unpaid monthly allowance.

They said over 20 of their associates died in the struggle to have their pension paid.
The over 100 pensioners  carried banners with different writings such as “We have suffered enough after 35 years service to our fatherland”; “PenCom is owing retirees 10 months arrears of unpaid pension and gratuities”;  and “N4.6 trillion has been used for campaign, Abi na lie”.

The Nation adds that the May 6 meeting started around 9pm and lasted just 30 minutes. There were no media present, and there was no official statement on the results.

Delta Govt building $57m massive shopping mall in Effurun Delta state to be open 14th may, 2015



 
The Delta State Government in collaboration with Shoprite have started construction on a massive shopping mall called the Delta City Mall in Effurun, Uvwie LGA near Warri in Delta State said to cost $57million. The government said the idea of building the mall was to help improve the economic activities of the state.
